Keep it simple

This week's tale is about enjoying simple things. Sometimes life doesn’t go the way you would like it to, but I believe that in the end, the result can be better than you initially planned. For this week's tale, since my daughter likes cats but we can’t have them due to allergies, I decided to take a plain blouse and embroider a cat she can have with her and take it everywhere without losing it.

Desing from How to Embroider Almost Everything: A Sourcebook of 500+ Modern Motifs + Easy Stitch Tutorials - Learn to Draw with Thread! by Wendi Gratz. I do recommend this book.

Talking about things not always going your way, working with a label for my yarn, I accidentally cut a few strands of my yarn hank. After I took a well-deserved break, I winded the yarn to see how much was the damage and I must say thankfully wasn’t as bad as I initially thought.

While it is true I no longer have a full hank of yarn, the four little ones are just so adorable! I will be brainstorming about what to do with the little ones. Feel free to reach out and share your ideas.
