Go For What You Want

A few years ago my dear mother-in-law got me a crossbody canvas purse that proved to be versatile and flexible. While looking modest the purse held many more items than you would expect. Sadly, the time has come to replace it after so many years of wear. Tired of not finding a replacement, I decided to venture into making myself what I wanted. The result was fantastic and I started to wear it as soon I finished.

So, as the title of this week’s tale mentioned, do not settle so easily for what you truly want. Can’t find what you want? Venture on making it yourself or reach out to your local crafter artist. The purse pattern and making is my own inspired by the purse my mother-in-law got me so many years ago. The leather material adds a soft touch, and since it is more resistant to the elements, I am sure it will last many years.

Talking about sewing, I also took a couple of days to work on this blouse for me now that we are enjoying summer. Tell me what you think if you get the chance on Instagram.
