Giving Thanks

While giving thanks goes all year round, the holidays are a reminder to slow down and share time and food with family and friends. Time does fly when having a good time, and it does feel like time is not enough. For example, my mom came to visit and while she chose a beautiful puzzle to do together, it ended up being a very big one and quite complicated with the same flowers spread everywhere. The result: we spent two days mounting it (and we usually fast within a few hours). I did enjoy our time together and there is always a rewarding feeling when you see a concrete result of a work done together (even if it is a puzzle).

As we continue to enjoy the holiday season, make sure to shake things a little by hitting a pause button on your favorite holiday movies and trying instead a puzzle, board game or the old-dusty Sherlock Holmes Adventures book that you may have enjoyed growing up. Due to copyrights, I am not able to post the picture of the puzzle my mom and I did together.

Stay tuned because I will be adding new content soon and new resources that may be helpful for you too.

Wish you a great time with family and friends. Merry Christmas and God Bless you in the New Year! Take care and stay warm!
